Salesforce for Staffing

Salesforce is the best platform a staffing firm can build on. We help firms get the full value of it.

We came to Salesforce as staffing operators first. We ran on it, fought with it, and made it work — and that's why we got into consulting. Today Helpstone helps staffing firms use the full Salesforce platform — CRM, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Slack, Agentforce, and the staffing tech ecosystem around it.

Why we're all-in on Salesforce

We picked this platform on purpose.

Most staffing firms don't need another generic CRM, another isolated ATS, and another marketing tool taped to the side. They need one platform that handles the messy reality of staffing — pipeline, placements, pay/bill, portals, integrations, AI — and holds up as the firm scales.

Salesforce is that platform. It's why we left operating roles to consult on it, and it's the only stack we go deep on. Every page on this site is built around it.

The full platform

Where Salesforce shows up in a modern staffing firm.

Most firms start in one cloud and grow into the rest. We help with the full picture — the strategy, the architecture, the build, and the run.

Sales Cloud — your staffing CRM

Accounts, contacts, opportunities, and pipeline tuned for how staffing actually sells. MSP, direct, RPO, perm, contract — modeled cleanly so AMs, recruiters, and leadership see the same truth.

Marketing Cloud + Account Engagement

Candidate nurture, redeployment campaigns, client newsletters, and event flows. We connect marketing to the ATS so engagement actually moves placements, not just open rates.

Experience Cloud — portals that earn their keep

Client portals, candidate portals, worker self-service, manager approval portals. Branded, mobile-first, and wired to the same record your recruiters and back office use.

Data Cloud — one source of truth

Unify ATS, VMS feeds, web traffic, marketing, and back-office data into a single profile. Make Agentforce and your recruiters act on the same context.

MuleSoft — integrations that hold up

Pay/bill, VMS, job boards, assessment, background check, e-sign, and finance systems — integrated with proper error handling, observability, and retry logic. Not duct tape.

Agentforce — agents on your data

Sourcing, screening, submission, redeployment, and middle-office agents that live where the work happens. Grounded in your Salesforce data, with human-in-the-loop controls.

Slack — the staffing operating layer

Hot job alerts, submission claim flows, approval routing, candidate handoffs, and AI assistants — running in the channel your team already lives in, connected to Salesforce records.

ATS + staffing tech, integrated

Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud, TargetRecruit, Asymbl, Seven20, 2cloudnine, Textkernel, Pipelaunch, Filldesk, Woo, KonaSearch — wired together intentionally on the Salesforce core.

Why it wins

Built like a staffing firm needs to run.

Staffing is a multi-sided business — candidates, clients, contractors, MSPs, internal ops. Salesforce is the only platform we've found that handles all of it on one data model without forcing you to compromise on any side.

One platform for front, middle, and back office — not five disconnected tools and a spreadsheet between them.

Identity, security, sharing, and audit you can actually defend to enterprise clients and MSPs.

An AppExchange ecosystem built for staffing — ATS, pay/bill, sourcing, assessment, compliance — all on the same data model.

Reporting and forecasting your CFO and CRO trust because the data lives in one place.

An AI roadmap (Einstein, Agentforce, Data Cloud) you can adopt incrementally without re-platforming.

Extensibility — Apex, LWC, Flow, MuleSoft — so the platform bends to your operation instead of the other way around.

Front · Middle · Back

One platform, end to end.

Front office

Sales Cloud, ATS (Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud, TargetRecruit, Asymbl, Seven20, native), Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud portals, Slack, sourcing and engagement tools.

Middle office

Onboarding, credentialing, time, pay/bill on 2cloudnine, commissions, exception handling, document automation — on the same record as the placement.

Back office

Finance integrations (NetSuite, Workday, ADP, Paychex), MuleSoft pipelines, CRM Analytics, Data Cloud, executive reporting your CFO and CRO actually trust.

When the CRM, the ATS, the portal, the pay/bill engine, and the agents all share one record, the operation finally stops fighting itself.

FAQ

What firms ask us about Salesforce.

We already have an ATS — why do we need more Salesforce?
Most firms use Salesforce for 10% of what it can do. Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud portals, Data Cloud unification, MuleSoft integrations, Slack workflows, and Agentforce all sit on the same data model as your ATS. The leverage compounds.
Is this overkill for a smaller firm?
No. The platform scales down cleanly. We've helped boutique firms get real value from Sales Cloud + a single integrated ATS, and grow from there as the operation matures.
Can we phase this in?
That's how it should be done. Start where the pain or opportunity is biggest — typically the CRM/ATS layer or pay/bill — and layer Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Agentforce as the business is ready.
Do you actually do all of these clouds?
Yes — and where we don't lead, we have trusted specialists we bring in. We architect, we own the staffing fit, and we make sure each piece earns its keep.
