About Helpstone

Helpstone helps staffing and recruiting firms implement, improve, and rethink the technology behind their operations. We combine Salesforce expertise, staffing-industry knowledge, and practical consulting to build systems people can rely on. We are a small, collaborative team. Clients come to us for execution, but also for judgment, strategic thinking, and honest guidance. The people who thrive here are proactive, curious, communicative, and comfortable solving problems without waiting for a perfect playbook.

The role

We are always interested in meeting capable mid-level Salesforce consultants who enjoy solving real operational problems. You'll work hands-on in Salesforce while collaborating with Lead Consultants, developers, QA, and clients. You will have meaningful autonomy, but you will not be expected to solve everything alone. We communicate frequently, raise blockers early, and help each other deliver work we are proud of.

What you'll do

  • Configure and improve Salesforce solutions for staffing and recruiting clients.
  • Build and maintain Flows and other declarative automation.
  • Configure users, roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets.
  • Create Lightning pages, page layouts, objects, fields, validation rules, and duplicate rules.
  • Support data modeling, cleansing, migration, and validation.
  • Participate in discovery and ask thoughtful questions about client workflows.
  • Translate defined requirements into maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Document decisions and communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly.
  • Support testing, deployment, training, and launch activities.
  • Collaborate with consultants, developers, and QA instead of working in isolation.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, documentation, configuration planning, testing, and other parts of delivery.

What we're looking for

  • Three or more years of Salesforce experience, preferably including Sales Cloud.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Flow and familiarity with legacy automation such as Workflow Rules and Process Builder.
  • Experience with Salesforce security, including roles, users, sharing, profiles, and permission sets.
  • Experience building Lightning pages, page layouts, objects, and fields.
  • Experience with data modeling, migrations, validation rules, and duplicate management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The confidence to work independently and the judgment to ask for help.
  • Curiosity about how clients operate, not just how Salesforce is configured.
  • U.S.-based availability.

Helpful, but not required

  • Experience with staffing or recruiting businesses.
  • Experience with Recruitment Cloud or Bullhorn for Salesforce.
  • Experience with TargetRecruit or Salesforce-native ATS implementations.
  • A Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certification.
  • Five or more years of overall technology experience.
  • Experience with Agentforce or AI-enabled Salesforce workflows.
  • Experience using Claude or other Anthropic tools, Lovable, custom MCP integrations, or comparable AI platforms.
  • Minnesota-based candidates are welcome, though location is not a requirement.

How we work

  • Strategic: We bring insight, not just execution.
  • Communication: We communicate clearly, honestly, and on time.
  • Community: We help each other and share what we know.
  • Vulnerability: We are comfortable asking for help when we do not have the answer.
  • Innovation: We experiment thoughtfully and improve how the work gets done.

AI is changing the work—and we're leaning into it.

Helpstone is investing heavily in AI across both our client solutions and our internal consulting model. Our work includes Claude and other Anthropic tools, Salesforce Agentforce, Lovable, custom MCP integrations, and other emerging platforms. We are looking for people who want to participate in that evolution. Prior hands-on experience is valuable but not mandatory. Curiosity, responsible experimentation, and a willingness to reconsider established ways of working matter in every role. We are not interested in automating poor processes or using AI for appearances. We want to remove low-value work, improve the quality and speed of delivery, and create more time for judgment, creativity, relationships, and meaningful client outcomes.

What success looks like

You consistently deliver thoughtful, reliable work. You ask good questions, communicate before an issue becomes a surprise, and understand the business reason behind what you are building. Over time, you take on increasingly complex client and solution responsibility.

Grow into stronger consulting work.

If you're curious about staffing operations, strong in Salesforce, and want to develop your consulting judgment alongside an experienced team, introduce yourself. We'll keep the conversation open as our needs evolve.
