About Helpstone

Helpstone is a consulting and technology company that helps staffing and recruiting firms get more value from Salesforce and the broader technology supporting their operations. We work at the intersection of staffing operations, Salesforce, and emerging technology. Clients rely on us for more than technical execution. They expect us to understand how their businesses operate, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and build solutions that make work simpler and more effective. We are a small, experienced team with very few layers between an idea, a decision, and getting something done. We value people who take ownership, communicate clearly, help their teammates, and can find a path forward when there is no perfect playbook.

The role

We're looking for a mid-level Project & Delivery Manager with experience in a Salesforce systems integrator or a similar professional-services environment. You'll manage and coordinate multiple client engagements while partnering closely with our Lead Consultants, developers, QA team, and clients. Lead Consultants own solution design, the consulting approach, and much of the day-to-day client leadership. Your responsibility is to make sure the engagement works. You'll understand what we committed to, keep the client and delivery team aligned, identify risks before they become problems, maintain visibility into scope and budget, and make sure decisions and follow-ups do not disappear. This is not a role for someone who only maintains project plans. Consulting projects change. Discovery uncovers new information. Clients have competing priorities. Consultants work across engagements. Strong delivery management requires judgment, communication, and timely intervention.

What you'll do

  • Manage multiple Salesforce consulting engagements from kickoff through completion.
  • Partner with Lead Consultants without taking solution ownership away from them.
  • Establish clear plans, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Maintain visibility into scope, budget, hours consumed, remaining work, and delivery risk.
  • Identify scope drift and budget concerns early and help determine the appropriate response.
  • Give clients clear, concise, and useful updates.
  • Build trusted relationships with client project leaders.
  • Capture decisions, commitments, risks, and follow-ups and make sure they are acted on.
  • Coordinate consultants, developers, QA, client teams, and outside partners.
  • Surface resource conflicts and capacity concerns before they affect delivery.
  • Facilitate meetings that result in decisions and action.
  • Support testing, deployment, launch planning, and other major milestones.
  • Recognize unhealthy projects and intervene instead of waiting for someone else to raise the issue.
  • Improve how Helpstone manages delivery across its project portfolio.
  • Support sales-to-delivery handoffs, planning, estimation, and scoping when appropriate.
  • Use AI and automation to reduce administrative work and improve delivery visibility.

What we're looking for

  • Experience managing technology consulting or implementation projects in professional services.
  • Experience with a Salesforce systems integrator is strongly preferred.
  • Enough Salesforce knowledge to follow conversations about configuration, development, integrations, environments, data, testing, and deployments.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements.
  • A strong understanding of statements of work, scope, budgets, estimates, timelines, and change management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Sound judgment about when to act independently, involve the Lead Consultant, or escalate.
  • The ability to bring structure to ambiguity without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Comfort working with experienced consultants who have significant autonomy.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the client outcome.
  • A bias toward action, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to rethink established processes.

Helpful, but not required

  • Staffing, recruiting, or workforce-solutions industry experience.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce-native ATS products, or operational Salesforce implementations.
  • Familiarity with Jira or comparable project-management tools.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Experience supporting project scoping, estimation, or pre-sales work.
  • Experience using AI tools in consulting or delivery work, including Claude or other Anthropic tools, Agentforce, Lovable, custom MCP integrations, or comparable AI platforms.

How we work

We hire people who take ownership, communicate clearly, and can find a path forward when there is no perfect playbook.

  • Client-first judgment — We care about the client's actual problem, not simply completing the task in front of us. Sometimes that means moving quickly; sometimes it means pushing back.
  • Ownership and responsiveness — People should not have to chase us for updates. We acknowledge requests, follow through, and raise our hands when something needs attention.
  • Practical solutions — A perfect methodology is not useful if it makes everyone's job harder. We use structure where it creates value.
  • Collaborative and low-ego — Expertise matters, but hierarchy and politics do not. We ask questions, share what we know, and help across role boundaries.
  • High standards that evolve — We care deeply about good work and expect our methods to keep improving as technology changes.

Our approach to AI

AI is not a side initiative at Helpstone. We are actively rebuilding parts of our consulting and delivery model around it. Our team works with Claude and other Anthropic tools, Salesforce Agentforce, Lovable, custom MCP integrations, and additional AI platforms. We do not want to automate bad processes or preserve administrative work simply because it has always existed. We want to use AI to reduce low-value effort and create more time for judgment, problem-solving, relationships, and meaningful client outcomes. You do not need to arrive as an expert in every platform. You should be curious, willing to experiment responsibly, and comfortable reconsidering how project and delivery work should be done.

What success looks like

A successful Project & Delivery Manager creates confidence. Clients know where their project stands and what they need to do next. Consultants spend more energy solving problems and less energy administering projects. Risks become visible early. Scope and budget do not become surprises. Commitments are followed through on. Most importantly, you make the entire delivery team more effective without needing to become the center of it.

Help make great consulting work even better.

If you understand professional-services delivery, care about client outcomes, and know how to create clarity without adding bureaucracy, we'd like to hear from you.
